Burke Family Crest
Sir Festus Burke was the fifth Baronet of Glinsk, Co. Galway, succeeding to the title on the death of his father, Sir John Burke, 4th Baronet, on the 4th July, 1721. The later was the half brother of Sir Ulick Burke, 3rd Baronet, who is the subject of number 8. Sir Festus married Laetitia, eldest daughter of the 9th Earl of Clanricard, and died without issue in 1730. Lady Laetitia is the subject of the air which follows. ... O'Sullivan p 10 v 2.
