Baptist Johnston

Johnston Family Crest

Baptist Johnston, of Tully, Co. Monaghan, was High Sheriff of that county in 1728 and M.P. for the borough of Monaghan, 1747-53, his death being recorded in Exshaw's Magazine for April, 1753. His sister Elizabeth was the mother of the Rev. Thomas Campbell.
